I’ve wanted to try this out ever since I saw the video on The King Of Random’s Youtube channel. Eventually I’d like to try and cast my slingshot design out of solid aluminium, but the first step is trying to melt down some scrap metal. Turns out this is not as simple as it seems. I did manage to melt some soda cans but it took me a really long time to get a very underwhelming result.
